DESCRIPTION
WP6 aims to adapt a typically general-purpose simulation platform to model a real supply chain and validate its logic and output. The aim is to integrate the benchmarks and metrics developed in WP5 to improve the predictive capabilities of the model and effectively support decision-making.
This activity focuses on incorporating metrics that assess supply chain performance from social, environmental, economic and technological perspectives. The use of a digital supply chain twin will enable scenario analysis as supply chain components change, facilitating strategic sourcing decisions.
The expected result is a powerful tool for quantitative and automated analysis of different combinations of supply chain factors, improving responsiveness to market variables. The innovation lies in creating a technological and operational framework for a more agile and responsive logistics network, fostering a sustainable circular economy.

In order to achieve the purpose of the WP, the activities described below have been planned.
6.1 Validate the predictive metrics built into the DSCT in a real world contextValidate and optimise the DSCT model to ensure its reliability as a predictive and analytical tool in a real world context.6.2 Extrapolation of benchmarksCreate a benchmark DSCT to identify optimisations, improvements, and develop benchmarks for future analysis and evaluation.6.3 Preparing reference scenariosPrepare representative scenarios for comparative simulation of the DSCT by virtually modifying supply chain elements and their characteristics.6.4 Comparative analysis of identified scenariosPerform multi-scenario analysis by varying supply chain elements, comparing results to optimise overall model performance.
