The VOLT Steering Committee is the highest decision-making body responsible for ensuring the success of the project.
The committee formally consists of the scientific and/or project managers of each partner and meets monthly. Occasionally, meetings may be extended to include other researchers and/or Project Team leaders.
The members of the Steering Committee must ensure the transdisciplinary leadership and direction of the project in order to optimise its expected benefits.
In addition, all members of the Steering Committee are expected to assess and monitor the impact of the project on all key stakeholders and are responsible for the strategic management of the project and the achievement of its objectives.
