On December 6, 2023, the project partners signed the Innovation Agreement with the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Call for Proposals (Ministerial Decree 31/12/2021). The signing of the Agreement represents a decisive formal step in the process of accessing the subsidies.
The Call regulates the procedures through which companies can benefit from grants to support industrial research and development activities. In this context, the signing of the Agreement confirms the mutual commitment between the project partners and the Administration, defining the obligations, timelines, and conditions for the implementation of the planned activities.
Following the signing, all the pre-decree documentation was uploaded to the dedicated management platform. This phase is necessary to allow the Ministry to complete the administrative and technical checks required before the formal adoption of the measure granting the subsidies.
The uploading of the documentation is a crucial moment in the process, as it certifies the completeness of the required documents and the consistency of the project with what was approved during the evaluation. Only after this verification can the concession decree be issued.
On March 14, 2024, the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT) sent the concession decree to the partners. With this act, the Ministry formalized the allocation of the grants provided for in the call for proposals, completing the administrative process for admission to funding.
The concession decree is the official reference for the operational start of the funded activities and for the management of the subsequent reporting and monitoring phases. Among other things, it defines the amount of the subsidies granted and the conditions for their disbursement, in accordance with the provisions of the Innovation Agreement.
The process that led to the signing of the Agreement and the issuance of the decree is part of a complex procedure involving several stages of evaluation and verification. Each step is designed to ensure the soundness of the projects funded and the effective use of public resources allocated to research and industrial development.
With the transmission of the Grant Decree, the project now enters the implementation phase. The next steps will be linked to the execution of the planned activities, in accordance with the timelines and procedures defined by the Agreement and the relevant regulatory framework.
